Using this website

The photographs and descriptions here illustrate the kind of work we make. They are not an offer to sell and do not form part of any contract. We may change the content of the site at any time.

Quotations

Every piece is priced individually after a free visit and measure. A quotation is given in writing, is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise, and is based on the design, materials and access discussed at that visit. Changes to the design or unexpected site conditions may change the price; we will tell you before any additional work is carried out.

Orders, deposits and payment

Work begins once you accept the quotation. Because each piece is made to your measurements and specification, a deposit may be required to cover materials, and it is non-refundable once materials have been ordered or cutting has begun. The balance is due on completion of fitting unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Timber and finishes

Timber is a natural material: grain, colour and small movement with humidity vary from piece to piece and are part of its character rather than a defect.

Your right to cancel

Where you are a consumer and the contract is agreed away from our premises, you normally have 14 days to cancel. That right does not apply to goods made to your specification once making has begun, and you may ask us to start sooner. We will confirm this with you in writing before work starts.

Faults and your legal rights

If something is not right, tell us and we will put it right. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
